Rates / Insurance:
Therapy may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance. Thrive asks that clients contact their insurance company to determine coverage for mental health services. Insurances currently accepted by Thrive Counseling Center include but may not be limited to: Aetna, Blue Cross / Blue Shield, Highmark, Compsych, Optum, United, and UPMC. At this time, we do not accept Medicare and Medicaid. If you are uncertain if your session will be covered by your insurance plan, please contact your insurance company.
Please note that all payments are due at the time of service.
Initial Session: $250 (60 minutes)
Individual Session: $200 (55-60 minutes)
Couples Session: $200 (55-60 minutes)
Family Session: $200 (55-60 minutes)
Consultation: $50/30 minutes
Cancellation Fee: $100 for sessions canceled less than 24 hours prior to a scheduled session.

Fees for Additional Services:
Letters and Forms (ESA, surgery, FMLA, Workers Compensation):
$50 for first page, $25 for each additional page

Records Requests:
$25 for up to 10 pages, $5 each additional page. Records are prepared and mailed after receipt of payment and completed Release of Information.
Court Appearances:
Clients are discouraged from having their clinician(s) subpoenaed for court. While your attorney may initiate the subpoena request, it does not necessarily mean that the clinician's testimony will be solely in your favor. The clinician will only testify to the facts of the case and of their professional assessment. Please be advised that your attorney is responsible for the court appearance and testimony fees.

Mileage: $0.55 per mile
Time away from office due to court appearance: $150 per hour
