Therapeutic services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Thrive Counseling Center also accepts self-pay clients, and while our rates are set we are willing to create payment plans with clients under very specific circumstances. Thrive requires that clients contact their insurance company to determine coverage for mental health services. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
- Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
- Is approval required from my primary care physician?
Insurances currently accepted by Thrive Counseling Center include but may not be limited to: Aetna, Blue Cross / Blue Shield, Cigna, Highmark, Compsych, Optum, United, UPMC, LifeSolutions, as well as various EAP contracts. If you are uncertain if your session will be covered by your insurance plan, please contact your insurance company. Clients can find the phone number for any insurance plan inquiries on the back of their insurance cards. Please note that all payments are due at time of service.
Payment by cash or check is preferred; however all major credit cards are accepted.
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay a missed session fee of $50.
